Contract stability

Petroguin, the national oil company, oversees oil and gas activity in Guinea-Bissau and acts as both concessionaire and commercial partner in the licences. The transitional government formed after the November 2025 elections has honoured Petroleum Law No. 4/2014 and the Joint Venture Agreements, including the licence extensions granted in 2026. New elections are planned for December 2026.
